The Larissa Prefectural Educational Cultural Center continues to offer books to school, club and agency libraries. In this context, books were offered this time to Gonnon High School. In fact, the offer was accompanied by an activity for the World Book Day organized by the teacher Evangelia Stogianni. At the event, in the presence of POKEL’s president Argyris Giourukis, there was a discussion with the students about the books, excerpts from selected books were read and verses set to music were heard.

April 23rd has been established as World Book Day to promote, promote and read books to young people and is considered the Day of Publishers and Copyright. The date was selected for 1the first in 1925 by the booksellers of Catalonia and established in 1995 by UNESCO because on April 23, 1616 William Shakespeare and Miguel de Cervantes died.

Anyone who wishes to participate in POKEL’s action and offer books, can call 6983444094.
