Two new books by the Metropolitan of Messinia

Two new books by the Metropolitan of Messinia and Professor of the University of Athens Chrysostomos Savvatos were recently released.

One with the title: “Theology selected” and the second “The individuality of the Macedonian question and the ethos of the Greek Macedonian fighters”.

The publication of the book entitled “Theology Selected” is a corpus of speeches and suggestions of the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Messinia Mr. Chrysostomos, which have been published from time to time and form a unit, with the central theme of the dialogue between Theology and Biotechnological Sciences. Its purpose is the presentation of his views on the dialectic of Theology with modern science and technology, especially with Biotechnology and the delimitation of this relationship in reference to man. The book has been edited by Dr. Ioannis P. Bougas. First edition, Holy Metropolis of Messinia.

The second book with a cover image of the Corps of Serdarids on Mount Athos (Karyes) and titled “The personality of the Macedonian issue and the ethos of the Greek Macedonian fighters” contains the speech of His Eminence to the Society of Macedonian Studies during the solemn Event of Remembrance for the Macedonian Struggle, in Thessaloniki, November 5, 2022. The book is prefaced by Dr. Vasilios N. Pappas, president of E.M.S. National Library. Publications of the Macedonian Studies Society.
