The Cultural Center for Teachers of Larissa Prefecture – POKEL donated books to the Kaparianon Primary School, located in the Mesara plain in Crete, following the invitation of the school director, Anagnostakis Giorgos, in order to enrich the school library, the students to cultivate a love of reading and to gain access to the magical and exciting world of literature.

POKEL’s books have traveled as far as Crete and will continue to reach all areas of our country, in central and remote areas, in schools and school libraries, in Associations and Institutions, throughout the school year, as long as there is the mood and love for books from colleagues, students or citizens. Anyone who wants to participate in the book donation action, can be informed by the person in charge, on the phone: 6983444094.

The director of the school states, among other things, in a statement of thanks: “Special thanks go to the president of POKEL, Argyris Giourukis, who with great zeal undertook to carry out the whole process, his enthusiasm for our effort was evident throughout the duration of our communication and gives us strength to continue the effort to offer. We wish all the members of POKEL to continue to open “windows to knowledge” for the children of all Greece, such efforts are an example to follow and deserve the support of all of us.”
