Artist Photographs Her Lovers With Hidden Camera: She Described Her Weird Technique In A Recent Magazine Interview

Tiny cameras may be primarily used for… spying purposes, but one artist decided to put them to a different use to create an admittedly original series of photographs.

The 31-year-old described her bizarre technique to Bust magazine. “I put a camera inside me and stay as still as I can. Then I pull off some duct tape I’ve put on the spot to expose the diaphragm. Depending on the light, I take photos for a minute or two. Then I let go of the tape and remove the camera from my body,” explains the eccentric artist.

As she says in her interview, the feeling of having a camera inside you “feels like penetration.” “There’s a kind of connection between the device and my breath, and it feels like my body is taking the pictures itself.” ‘

As for her partners who agreed to be photographed in this strange way, the artist points out that they enthusiastically “embraced” her need to express herself in this way. “They knew I was exploring different levels of intimacy. When I mentioned the project to them and asked them if they wanted to participate, most of them immediately said yes.”
